Peer Review Policy

Peer-Review Policy:

All journals of Chrome Publishing follow the “Double Blind Peer-Review” process by taking care of author (s) research confidentiality in terms of hiding author (s) personal and professional details to reviewers which results in actual and fair outcome of the review comments for author (s) research on the other side author (s) do not recognize the reviewers or approach reason for fair decision taken by the reviewers. This is smart peer-review process for publishing a genuine work.

How Peer-Review Works:

Author (s) submit the manuscript to Chrome Online Publishing System through registration (free of any cost). During registration process author gets login details as user id & password to check the status of the manuscript throughout the publication process. Once manuscript is submitted Editor of that Journal check overview of the content of manuscript this is called “1st Screening”, at this stage if manuscript is rejected on the basis of over review parameters than manuscript is returned back to author, if it is accepted for peer-review then Editor nominates two (2) experts of that subject area at same time called reviewers. Nominated reviewers receive the manuscript for review comments along with the schedule and review parameters. According to time table Editor receives review comments from nominated reviewers that are called peer-review stage. If peer review is “Yes” then Editor send the manuscript for third reviewer (3) for English grammar checking/other review parameters, if it is “No” than manuscript is sent to fourth reviewer (4) and finally manuscript is sent for revision to author.

Author (s) submit the revised manuscript. Editor follows the “Second Review” and sends the revised manuscript to all four nominated reviewers and again receives their comments. Based on these comments Editor finalizes the decision of “Rejection” or “Acceptance” of the Manuscript. If manuscript is accepted for publication than follows the other publishing steps otherwise sent back to author.

Guidelines for Reviewers:

Accept Article that meets your Expertise: Editor do not know thoroughly about your (reviewer) subject expertise and may send the article for peer-review, thus, accepts an invitation if you are competent to review the article.

Check Time Availability: It requires enough time to review an article which depends upon the length and quality of the article. On an average an article needs 5 to 6 hours for review; therefore reviewers accept the invitation according to the availability of the time which meets the review schedule.

Manage Time Schedule: Once you receive the invitation, accept or reject this by sending an email with in one or two days. If accepted then follow the provided time lines for smooth peer review process. In a case review of an article taking more time this is out of time line than contact to Editor and discusses the matter.

For technical details regarding Peer-Review guidelines follow the COPE Ethical Guidelines for Peer-Reviewers.
